Today I’m going to share about the new beauty routine I adopted after trying Bio-Essence Royal Jelly & ATP Range. We are going to go through a couple of products today. Are you first familiar with the Bio-Essence brand? It is a Singaporean brand first launched in 2001. So it has been around for 15 years! It has only been available in Indonesia since 2015. They must have deliver some real result to have been around in one of the most competitive beauty markets.
Bio-Essence emphasize on its Bio-technology & natural ingredients of Royal Jelly & ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate)- I can’t pronounce it either, but it’s the substance that help to renew and repair our skin by releasing energy for blood & oxygen circulation. While Royal Jelly is widely known for its anti-aging effect, skin cells renewal, and significant reduction on fleck and fine lines.

The product usage in order of 5 simple steps:
- Deep Exfoliating Gel: to exfoliate dead cell and enable your skin to absorb more nutrients
- Nourishing Deep Cleanser (for dry & normal skin)/Nourishing Foamy Cleanser (for oily & combination skin): To cleanse your pores, remove sebum, make up residue.
- Deep Nourishing Toner: preparing pores for better absorption of skin care nutrients
- Radiant Youth Essence: first layer of antioxidant to repel free radicals
- Face Lifting Cream: magic cream with numerous benefits, such as giving V face contour and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
My Review About the Whole Range

The Deep Exfoliating Gel is used when face and hands are dry. I squeezed about 1-2cm gel on my fingertips and make circular motion on my face and neck. After one minute, dirt and flaky dry skin will come off.
Texture: thick yellowish clear gel
Smell: odourless
After use comment: I like the feel of the gentle light scrub and dead skin being removed. It is not harsh on the skin and leave any tight feeling afterwards.
I tried both the Nourishing Deep Cleanser and Foamy Cleanser and liked the later one better because it suits my skin type. Use it just like any other facial wash twice a day.
Texture: thick pearl color paste
Smell: fresh scent
After use comment: I have no complaint or specific comment on the cleanser, it works just like any other face wash. Because it was foamy, I need a bit more water to wash it off thoroughly
I like how the Deep Nourishing Toner is easy to use with the pump bottle design. I used about two pumps on my cotton to wipe my entire face to neck.
Texture: clear liquid
Smell: fresh scent, like the cleanser
After use comment: I like the fresh smell, the pore feels fully cleansed leaving a cool and supple after effect.
Again, I like the bottle design. The Radiant Youth Essence is very concentrated so you only need one drop (half pump) for your entire face.
Texture: oily texture at first, but after one minute it is absorbed without leaving residue.
Smell: odourless
After use comment: My entire face and neck feels very moist after massaging it thoroughly for one minute. It is said that every bottle contains 95% green tea extract that is rich in antioxidants and useful to keep free radicals at bay.
The star item, Face Lifting Cream. This will replace your daily moisturizer. I took one scoop using my index finger and equally massage it onto my face in circular motion for 5 minutes.
Texture: white & thick cream
Smell: fresh & creamy
After use comment: I like the consistency of the cream. I feel a slight minty burn feeling when I first massage my face. After a while it turns into a cool and invigorating supple feeling. The Face Lifting Cream also comes with a measuring tape to check your before-after progress. My measurement (right ear to below tip of nose) is 12.3cm, after usage of Bio-Essence range 1 to 5 it was 11.9cm. So I get a 0.4cm reduction of face contour after letting it rest for 10 minutes.

How to measure your face contour (do this right before applying Face Lifting Cream):
- Place the measurement tape right below your right ear, to the mid point below the tip of your nose. Do the same for your left ear. Note down measurement.
- Don’t place the measurement tape too tight or too loose.
- Apply Face Lifting Cream and massage your whole face thoroughly and wait for 10 minutes.
- Use the measurement tape with the same manner and note down measurement
Conclusion:
Among all the range, youth essence serum and face cream showed most distinctive result.
The deep exfoliating gel also played a big part in removing dead cells and hence preparing the skin to absorb the nutrients from the serum and cream better.
